"PaperClip"


This new friend of mine is sharp,
It's clever how he knew I needed a heart.
He taught me a lesson that I deserve.
If I keep at it, I will build up the confidence to push.

He said "practice makes perfect,
Repetition is key.
It's easy for those who easily scar,
It's easy for those who are accustom to the pain"

So just like the sketches,
I've drawn a million.
My friend carved me a heart
To wear on my wrist.

Now this fair skin that I wear
Displays a simple kind of beauty.
